Founded by Frank Salmon with determination and pioneering spirit, our legacy of trust and quality moving service spans generations. Joined by his wife Jenny in 1915, she managed dispatch, ensuring smooth operations as we took on challenging tasks like transporting lumber from False Creek sawmills to burgeoning settlements. These successes established our reputation as problem solvers and reliable movers.
Under Frank Jr.’s leadership post-World War II, Salmon’s expanded significantly, navigating economic booms and joining Atlas Van Lines in 1972 to broaden our services nationwide. For forty years as an Employee-Owned company under Doug Kellough, we became trusted experts in piano, office, and long-distance moves.
Today, led by entrepreneur Mark Hirschi since 2018, Salmon’s offers comprehensive local and long-distance moving services in Surrey, BC, specialized storage, and restoration solutions.
